Rittenhouse...Accessorizing 101

A clear example how one accessory can transform an outfit. My personal style philosophy slightly favors function over form (with the exception of the pocket square, of course), and on this frigid Philadelphia evening, a scarf strikes that perfect balance between comfort and couture. This accessory adds the twist to an ensemble subtle in color but big on personality. The indie pop band Of Montreal has a song entitled, "Suffer for Fashion," but this young lady demonstrates that it's possible to be dressed to the nines without having to dial 911. The only people suffering are the scores of guys spraining their necks from giving this dashing dame a double-take.

Love the urban background contrasting with that elegant scarf. Perfect blend of new age and classic looks.
